Terms & Conditions

(These terms and conditions apply to the Cape Jervis Accommodation and Caravan Park also known as Big4 Cape Jervis) CJACP

These terms and conditions apply to all bookings for the provision of accommodation made with CVACP, either directly or via a third party. By making a booking for accommodation, guests warrant that they have read these terms and conditions and agree to be bound by them, subject to such changes as are notified to them. If the booking for accommodation is made through a third party, the terms and conditions of that third party also apply.

All accommodation is provided subject to availability.

Rates are per unit/cabin/room/site, per night based on two-person occupancy.

If your party consists of a greater number than has been allowed for in the booking (including infants), then we reserve the right to charge for the additional guests or cancel the booking, with any refund being at CJACP discretion.

Check-in time is from 2pm and before 6pm, and check-out time is normally before 10am on the day of departure. If you are arriving after this time we have a 24/7 Check In Kiosk in our Bar/ Comfort Lounge area, make your way through the glass doors at the front of the building, you will find the Check In kiosk next to the bar on the left. You will need the surname and mobile number or reservation/confirmation number of the booking to check in. For Rooms and Cabins: the key will be dispensed from the Kiosk Machine at the end of the check in process. For Campsites: once you have checked in the boomgate access code will be sent to your phone by SMS and to your email address, you can find maps on the kiosk to locate your room or campsite or click on the Property Map link. PLEASE NOTE we only have Telstra and Optus Networks available in the area. If you use Vodaphone network, please update your contact details as you won’t have any service. International Mobiles will not receive the access code by SMS. The same SMS message will be sent to your email so please check this. You are welcome to use the free Wi-Fi to check your email in this area. Just log on to Cape Jervis Accommodation on your Wi-Fi list.

Do’s and Don’ts

Here are a few do’s and don’ts that apply during your stay at Cape Jervis Accommodation and Caravan Park:
There is a speed limit of 10km around CJACP.
We reserve the right to refuse entry to any guests, and/or their visitors who do not respect or abide by our terms and conditions.
The operation of drones is only permitted at CJACP sites with prior written approval from management.
Please do not use massage or baby oil on the beds, or any bleaching agents on towels.
If any items in our rooms are damaged or broken during your visit, please advise us so that we can arrange a repair or replacement.
We reserve the right to charge visitors for any damage that occurs that we consider to be over and above normal wear and tear.
Guests are responsible for their own washing and drying of dishes at the end of their stay. We reserve the right to charge for additional time that this takes our housekeepers to complete, with a minimum fee of $25 being applied.
Some of our accommodation rooms are Pet friendly. If you are bringing your Pet, you must abide by the terms and conditions of our Pet Policy. A copy is available on our website or by request.
When leaving the accommodation, please turn off all heaters and lights.
Lost keys will incur a charge for the cost of changing the locks & issuing new keys.
Damage, breakages, theft and losses are the guests responsibility during their stay.
Additional cleaning fees may apply as required.

Code of Conduct

Cape Jervis Accommodation and Caravan Park has a Code of Conduct that guests must always adhere to. The following behaviour is deemed unacceptable and is in breach of our Code of Conduct.

Loud and abusive language, including verbal or physical behaviour towards staff, guests, animals or any other person or being intoxicated and unsavoury behaviour
Wilful damage or destruction of any property
Any behaviour that poses a threat, either implied or real to others
Excessive noise
Smoking in rooms or any other building on the properties
Overcrowding of accommodation. The total number of guests cannot exceed the number of guests registered for the stay
Assault of any kind
Ignoring directions or instructions from management

Eviction or Cancellation Policy

In the unfortunate event that a guest is in breach of our Code of Conduct the Cape Jervis Accommodation and Caravan Park reserves the right to cancel a booking at any time and request the guest and their partners, friends and/or family leave the premises immediately. No refund will be available.

In the event of an escalated dispute the Cape Jervis Accommodation and Caravan Park reserves the right to take whatever action is necessary to evict the guest and their partners, friends and/or family, which includes but may not be limited to seeking police intervention.

In the event of such action a guest may receive a banning notice issued by Cape Jervis Accommodation and Caravan Park.

Payment Policy

We accept the following credit cards: Visa, Mastercard and American Express.

By providing credit card details, guests warrant they have the authority to use the credit card and they authorise Cape Jervis Accommodation and Caravan Park to charge the cost of their booking(s) to that credit card.

All reservations must be paid in full at time of booking.

Maximum number of pets per cabin is two.

Cancellation policy

Flexible – 30 days or more prior to arrival: Full Refund.

29 days or less prior to arrival: Non Refundable.

This means that if you cancel less than 30 days of when you are to stay, no refund will be available.

No refund will be given for any unused services (early departure) or non-arrival.

Cape Jervis Accommodation and Caravan Park cannot be held responsible for damages or compensation for cancellation or curtailment in unforeseeable circumstances that prevent you from fulfilling your booking.

If you believe that there is a possibility that you might cancel or curtail, for whatever reason, then you should arrange your own cancellation insurance.

In some instances, we may allow guests to move the reservation to another date into the future, (within a few months) as long as we are notified in advance of your arrival and there is availability on the future date/s for the same room/site type. This is at Cape Jervis Accommodation and Caravan Parks discretion.
