Special things happen in stables and cow sheds, and our Stables Cottage is the most unique cottage we have on the property, renovated from the original stable it has a special calm attached to it. Designed as a getaway for couples, it features a King size bed in step-down bedroom that showcases the original stonework and window slots. With views from the verandah across the farmland towards Kangaroo Island from its rear courtyard, you can be in your own little world. With a pleasant private bathroom and neat kitchen that overlooks the cosy lounge featuring a combustion wood fire and RC/AC, it offers a restful tranquillity in its simple and private layout.

The Stables
There is a complete kitchen with a stove top, oven, medium sized fridge, microwave, tea & coffee facilities, a full range of crockery, cutlery and utensils.
The lounge room is a few steps on from the kitchen with a three piece leather lounge suite, coffee table, flat screen TV with a built in DVD player, oil heater and log fire (please supply your own wood or purchase from Reception).
Enjoy a beverage outside overlooking the farmland and Kangaroo Island to complete your stay.
